Is there a way to check the status of the injured spouse allocation form I filed?
I've already checked the irs website and it still says "your refund was used to pay a past debt blah blah blah". Is there a way I can check the status of the injured spouse allocation form I filed about 2 weeks ago?? I know it takes about 8 weeks to receive the refund, but I'm paranoid and I just want to make sure the irs received it and it's being processed. Thanks!

I have an IRS state tax lien. and some other small civil judgements?
Is there an organization that can help me ? I lost my license because my line of work (self employed) requires me to drive everyday all day. I would have to keep driving to support my family and pay my debts. But I am held back due to loss of license ................... Is there any help for people in my situation?

Can I sell a property that has a Income tax lien on it?
I know that whatever profit there is on the sale would first go to the IRS toward the tax lien, but I am not sure how the tax lien will affect the sale. By the way, after selling the property the tax lien will not be totally paid off. All of the money from the sale will go toward the lien and it won't be enough to pay the entire debt. Does that effect the sale? Will it take longer to close the deal? does the IRS have to sign off on it? How does it affect the marketing of the property and does it affect the buyer in any way?

offset indicator, but no debt?
Last year my taxes were offset because of my student loans....this has since been cleared up. The offset program hotline says I still have a debt and my taxes may be offset, when I call Dept of Ed. they say that I have no debt and that it was sent to IRS on 12/13 to remove offset indicator. No one on either end says there is anything they can do. IRS says that they have to double check before they offset, an dept of Ed says they'll just take it, attempt to send it to Dept of Ed, then eventually return it to me.
I found all of this after I filed yesterday......any suggestions who I should try? Or if this has happened to you?

IRS Collection 1998 Problem?
IRS Blind sided me with a tax year debt owed of 305,000.00's from when I was a kid.
I went after help from a company named tax masters. They seemed to have a legit solution to the problem.
I have paid them 925.00's and i'm suppose to pay them again at the end of the month .
It doesn't seem like they have done anything to resolve this issue at all.
I do not owe the IRS, IRS lost my original tax return. The companies that reported to the IRS in 1998 are either gone or are to stupid to keep records so I don't have any cost basis.
At this point I've gone passed Nightmare I have no idea where to seek help.
